This is a special service for our sister what is already acknowledged in heaven, to the contribution to the Ministry by Sis Brown.
Because of the work of faithful men and women like Mother Brown, who made sacrifices and kept the faith. Another woman is Deaconess Scarlett who served without fail. She with her beloved husband who has now passed away. Bulwell also acknowledges the service of Deaconess Scarlett along with Mother Brown.
Mother Brown’s journey with the Lord started at a young age in Jamaica. She was brought up in the Baptist Church, but she did not feel spiritually fulfilled, she felt that something was missing. She remembered visiting a church in Hanover, Jamaica that was first introduced to charismatic Seventh Day Adventist. It was also the first time she felt the guidance and moving of the Holy Spirit.
Eventually in 1990 she became a member of the Mount Zion 7th Day Church of God, Thirsk Place, Derby. Her spiritual and practical contribution has been tremendous. She used every opportunity to minister about the Lord. Even in the Supermarket she uses the opportunity to start a conversation so she can spread the gospel. She is ready to serve at the first call.
Mount Zion salutes Mother Brown and while she is still here we give you the Crown,
Thank you once again Mother Brown for all your hard work.
